Arriving in Tokyo

We had an easy bus ride to Tokyo station and then took the train to our hotel.

The room is pretty swanky and we have a nice view of the city at night.

Deborah and Bernie arrived around 8 and we all decided to go out for dinner. The first restaurant we went to had a long wait so we ended up going to a chain curry place called Go Go Curry ( was basically a tiny counter with a kitchen. Also it was located under the train tracks so everything would rumble a bit every few minutes.

However, it was really good, and with huge portions. We didn’t take any pictures, but here is a typical dish:

You order from a machine outside and bring your ticket up to the counter and they return with your dish in a few minutes.
