First full day

We decided to take things easy in the morning since everyone had a busy day before. We went out for a fairly standard, yet tasty western-style breakfast.
We then took the train to Harajuku and visited Meiji Shrine. After a bit of a walk down a wide, forested path we came to the front gate.

We went to the inner shrine and did the appropriate prayer ritual; make an offering (some pocket change), bow twice, clap your hands twice, and then bow again.

Susannah and Deborah also offered some written prayers and bought good luck charms.
Afterwards, we walked through the gardens outside the shrine and made our way back to Harajuku proper for dinner.
