While heading to the museum, we took a walk through the park. There were a number of shrines and temples but we wanted to make sure we had enough time in the museum. We did take a couple of pictures on the way. The first is of a memorial dedicated to some soldiers that died fighting a battle in the area where the park is now. This is a picture of the front of the Japanese National Museum.Of course, we stopped to have a snack. There was a man selling roasted sweet potatoes from his truck se we decided to get one before going in to the museum. It was quite good.Upon reaching the front of the museum there was a man outside doing some kind of teapot-balancing performance. He did all kinds of balancing tricks including flipping the pot up in the air and catching it on a stick.
