Modern Shrine

Most of the stuff we did the first few days in Tokyo is stuff that we have already posted about on the blog.

However, after visiting the Edo-Tokyo museum we we came across a traditional Japanese shrine with modern architecture.

A lot of the walls were made of glass, allowing for a full, bright view of the interior:IMG_0663.jpg

There were also some modern-looking statues, metal roofs, and other decor:IMG_0662.jpg

For some one who has seen many Japanese temples, this was a very different experience.
