We Interrupt this Post for Snow

Yep, it snowed today in Tokyo. A lot. Well, a lot for Tokyo, which is a couple of inches. It was almost entirely melted by the evening though, with only a few piles along the sidewalks and alleys.

Here are the trashcans on our balcony, just to give an idea of the amount:IMG_0942.jpg

I also took a picture of the building roofs outside our apartment:IMG_0943.JPG

Fortunately, Susannah didn’t have any problems getting to work, but apparently many trains were delayed throughout the day.

Tokyo is like the American South when it comes to snow; they just don’t know how to deal with it.
