For the week or so of New Year’s, not much goes on in Japan, so we mostly just lounged around and relaxed.
Fear not though, we still managed to get a bowl of ramen. We went to a place near us, which turned out to be pretty good. It was a traditional Tokyo style broth: a mix of pork and chicken. We got to choose our own noodles, which was nice (we got the thick ones), and the green onion on top was interesting because it was dressed with a spicy chili sauce.
