Sorry for the long absence! Here are some bento pictures:

Sorry! Things have been going pretty steadily since our last posts so I forgot to do more. To make up for it, I’ll post a bunch of stuff night (if I can maintain this motivation… We’ll find out together)!

I don’t remember if I’ve stated this on the blog or not, so I’ll possibly say it again. Bentos in Japan are obviously beautiful as well as delicious, but the nicest thing about them is that they give you the ability to have a great meal at a pretty reasonable price. Of course you’re able to find very expensive bentos, but the ones I tend to gravitate towards are in the $8-$15 dollar range and are generally fantastic. They’re also good for having a night in, especially if that night has some Lucha Underground or New Japan Pro Wrestling!

Anyway, let’s get to the bentos:

This was a pretty good bento for only... around $10/1,000¥. The store also let you choose which seasoned rices you wanted, but I went with the lady's recommendation. I liked them all!

Inside the bento! IT WAS FANTASTIC.

This is Sam's Chinese food bento. It got turned on its side in commute, so it's not as pretty. But it was good!
